How much power is too much for a 13w6v2

Im fairly new to this forum, looking to purchase a 13w6v2. But before I do I was wondering for a 13w6v2 in a sealed box. How much power is safe. I want to get optimum sound, but dont want to damage the sub either. So about how many watts RMS would be good? and any suggestions on amps is welcomed.

a 300 watt amp or 400 i think jl might have some or a kicker would work. I wouldnt give that sub more than 300 rms maybe 350

u could easily run alot more to it than that....maybe a 500/1 jl slash would do ok. or maybe a good 800 watt amp, with the gain down a tad. it's all up to u

How would the Kicker ZX750.1 handle, does 750x1 at 2 ohms. Would that be good for a 13w6v2? The thing is id have it wired with the Remote Bass Control So sometimes id crank it completely. Is that too much to crank? or should I go with the 650 watt kicker? or 500/1 JL?

You could feed that thing 750 clean watts all day long.

Seeing you like to play w/ the remote bass control. I'd set your gain w/ the boast maxed out, to insure its only getting clean power.

On JL Audio's website, they say 750 watts power handling, but don't specify RMS. Right now, I am feeding it 650 RMS off the Class D section of my 25 to Life Power 1000 and it seems to be taking it fine
