How much power for Alpine r's?

ok here is what i installed!
2-T1000's running at 2ohm, one on each sub

2-Alpine 12" R's

Yellow top...

But i want louder haha, debating on another pair of R's or 2 X series

Do like everyone has been saying. Go ported. Will get a ton louder

you definety have enough power to run 2 more of the R's just drop that ohm load and you have like 550 going to each. should be as loud as your looking for lol

Yeah, the R's struggle to hit the lows in sealed. I still have never noticed a huge difference in SPL ported, but more shit will start shaking.

also got 2 more r's on the way =)

now what size or type should i build for a box? ported sounds like the way to go.. should i build a angled box like in that Avalanche posted on here? also i want to come up with a design that would produce the power these are capable of but save as much trunk space as possible i hated the blazier i just traded in because of no space now i have it so i want to save any i can at same time getting most out of this almost 3k ive sent in last week to go boom!!

also any other recommendations? HO alt? big 3 upgrade...she will hurt your ears now but i did notice lows dont sound all that great

oh ya forgot to mention both birth sheets are just over 1400WATTS RMS on these amps at 1OHM
