How much power for Alpine r's?

Ok just bought a new grand cherokee, there for thought it was time to upgrade the system in it. I bought a pair of Alpine Type R's DVC 12's.

At this point i have 1 Fosgate T1000 Mono block on its way, going to run the two subs 1000watts @ 1ohm. Now my question is for any R series fans out there, should i buy a second T1000 and slap one on each sub? That would put me at 750RMS@2ohm to each sub vs 1000RMS@1ohm split between both subs. i want power but also dont want to be blowin my subs left and right...even thoughhh i have the 4 year best buy give me new subs deal lol

honestly i would just run the one amp to the pair. the rockford amps are good and usually put out more then they rated, so 1k + to them, build ported box 4-5 cubes to 32hz and sound be good

x2. if you arent that great at tuning amps to send a clean signal then youd rather play it a lil safer and cheaper imo.

and ive heard a lot of the power series amps will put out about 500rms more than rated, so you'll be more than happy.

Well, i have a sealed 2 chamber box, not sure on cubes, it was a prebuilt box i had for my p3's. i was thinking that the power series wld push over 1k @ 1ohm, which would get me 600-700RMS@1ohm, or if i went with 2 T1000's run each sub @2ohm, amp is then rated at 750RMS so i figure 750-900 maybe 1000 per sub. Honestly i **** *** at cleaning the signal, but i have a buddy and his uncle who do pro installs and they are good they always tune my installs. I have one T1000 ordered, just found out a buddy has brand new one he would also sell me for $200, plan on putting a yellow top in the rear, also should i use my 1F fosgate cap or just eliminate it?

So would the verdict be which:

1 - T1000@1ohm = Minimum 500RMS to each sub or more depending on what amp pushes but potential of 500-700RMS most likely

Or

2 - T1000@2ohm, one on each sub, with 750RMS peak prob 1000ish

For me spending that much money on another amp would not be worth it. I think you would be much better either sticking with 1 rockford or completly scraping the rockford idea and buying 1 amp that does around 2000 watts

edit: by the ways im sending around 900-1000 watts to my 12 r's daily

You won't see that much of an increase by adding another amp...not worth the 200 bucks at least.

Besides, I fed my R's 600+ each and yeah they sounded good and never blew, but they got STANKY! You could smell em every time I wang'd em.
