How much power do CompVR's really handle??

Would it be OK to push 1 10" compVR with my Rockford Fosgate P5002 (birthed at 690)?? Or would it be a better idea to go with the CompVX??

It'd be in a .9 cu^ft sealed box. The type-R I have right now just is not loud enough for my liking, and I don't really want to buy a new amp, as I just bought this one.

Thanks,

Bryan

Thanks guys!! CVX it is!

Now just one last n00b question before I go buy this thing...This will be louder than a Type-R on the same setup, right??

Thanks,

Bryan

As long as you aren't clipping your amp, you should be able to give it a considerable amount more than the sub's rms rating. I was giving my old kicker compvrs around 1100 watts @ 2 ohms and they handled it no problem.

doubt it. same box??? if so, doubt it.
