HOw much power can my elec. system handle?

I wants a bigger amp/sub system but need some advice from some of you car audio buffs first, thanks in advance.

Wow that alternator sucks. I really can't help you unless you tell me what's your goal. But I can tell you whatever you plan on getting, or even with your curren setup I would upgrade your front battery. Maybe an optima or something.

That is the upgraded battery. My current battery has about half the cranking amps of the duralast. And obviously, my goal is bigger louder bass.

Oh, and an optima isn't compatible with my car.

I was thinking of upgrading to the ZX750.1 but don't know if I could handle that with my current alt.

You could probably pull a solid 1.5-2k without serious issues. That is certainly fine.

It has nothing to do with knowing about car audio, it has to do with common sense. It's much easier to answer a specific question than a hypothetical and ambiguous one...

You gotta more precise with your questions, it's like shooting in the dark. But like the post above 2k at the most with some strong batteries. I believe the usual car uses about 30 amps, and since yours is around 80, that's about 50 amps for audio. So youbetter have some d*mn good batteries.

why isnt your car "compatible" with an optima? i assume its a 12v nominal system right?

anyway, you should be fine with that battery and some restraint with the gain. dont blast your ish at idle for an hour, lol. also...the big3 should give you huge improvements.

Yeah I searched for the make/model of my car and there wasn't anything compatible. I'm sure that maybe there could be a way to rig one but I'm gonna buy something I am sure will fit.

Yeah I played it too much with the car off and the battery sucks to begin with and its also winter time so my battery is crap at the moment. The Big 3 is something I will probably do as well. Thing is, my alt is very well hidden so I hope I can do it on my own.
