How much power can I run on a 2000 Chevy Blazer with a stock electrical system with the exception of an Optima Yellowtop.

Does anyone have any experience with Blazers?

Does anyone know how many amps the stock alternator is? Also, where is a good place to buy HIOP alternators?

For your questions about the stock alternator, go or call a local parts store they can tell you what your stock alternator has for amps.

You should be able to run at least 1000w rms before you have anything to worry about. There are a lot of people running ~2000w on alts that size.
