How much power can 4 gauge wire handle?

Well I Currently have a Infinity 7541 amp, which will be used to power a set of CDT HD components, at 400 watts RMS. I already have a run of 4 gauge of power cable, and Im going to add a Kicker 750.1 amp, which will be used to power a Kicker sub at 750 Watts RMS. Altogether, my sytem will be using 1150 watts. Will I need to upgrade the wire?

how longs the run from battery to trunk?
should be fine though
I dont know exactly, but anywhere between 15 - 17 feet. It could even be shorter then that. I bought 17 feet, but I cut some off, I just don't know how much.

I think you're ok, but any more and it's time for an upgrade.

I have a 360w component amp, 700w sub amp. Runs fine on 4 ga, but it's only 14'.

while were on the topic, what size fuse would be adaquite if im running about 1200w? and i'm going to have a distribution block to a 200w speaker amp, and 1000 to my sub. is there a thread or anyhting about fuse size?
