How much of a difference will this make?

I currently have 2 kicker CVR's in a kicker box running off a kicker 08ZX750.1, and I'm looking to upgrade my system right now. I have around $600 or so to spend. I was thinking about a AQ2200D with one HDC3 18". If I set up the box and everything correctly. Do you think I will notice a big difference? Or can you guys throw any ideas at me or suggestions for around that price range.

nah stay with the kicker subs, bro what u think look at how much power your gona be running now. u migh wana look in to a new front batt and bigger power/ground wire as well.

Well I have the Big 3 set up goin on. I have enough room since I have a 98 blazer. I just wasn't sure if one 18" will make a huge difference over 2 12's.

well with the 2 12s u have more cone area but your talkin so much more power. One 18 will be very loud in your blazer. is that a 2 door blazer?

Yeah only a 2 door. If theres anything else besides a 18 that would work better than the 2 kickers and kicker amp for my price range let me know.

2 12's do NOT have more cone area than an 18"

How much is a BTL? If its over $350, look into 2 15" AQ SDC 2.5's. They fukin BANG on 500rms in a big box. My pair of 15's surprised the hell out of me for $300, if you give them 1000 theyd do great.

I liked em so much I went with 4 in next (current) install lol. If your stuck on the BTL, it will still be louder than the 2 12's if built properly

with that amp youll need plenty of 0 gauge a yellow top up front and a decent sized batt in the back
