how much more power do i need?

seems from my last thread that most think i need more power for my two idmax 12s ported. they are dual 2 so i need a 2 ohm load or 2 amps at 1 ohm. i am currently feeding them about 900 watts from a nine.1. i dont really feel that 1200 watts total is that big of an upgrade or worth the money spent. would 1500 be enough of an upgrade or do i need to be thinkking more. obviously more is better, to a point but what do yall think would be noticeable.

side note: i need to keep this under 300 shipped.

300w isn't going to have an audible difference. Go for the 1500.

also is the infinity 611a strappable? what determines if an amp is strappable?

im kind thinking power acoustik but they just seem to controversial for if they actdually do rated power or not, and their actual build quality

you think doubling the power would only make a slight difference? i would imagine it would be a big difference since that would be right at their rated power instead of half their power.

if you sold the nine.1 for 300 you could just come up with 100. shouldn't be hard to find the 1500bd all day long for 400 or less.
