How much for Big 3?

I went to a shop, and without the materials (if I provided them) they were going to charge $200. They said it would take 4 hours, as my alt is inaccessable without taking off the front end, but I'm sure your's will be less. Probably around or over $100 for install.

Lexus's have open engine bay's dont they?

WIth knukonceptz wire and the other parts, for all of the big 3, it was around $75 shipped.

and why would you pay THAT MUCH, on something so simple.
Because not only would I have to take the front bumper off, but it would be the entire front end.... and then, within the super-cramed engine bay, you need to find the correct wires, remove them and replace. In some cars, if you don't have the time, knowledge or experience, it's better to get it professionally done.

true, but for 200$, you could almost get a new HO alt, which is like 999x better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

also ygpm. just a question.

I can't even see my alternator, it's crammed under the power steering pump. I don't really want to fool with a job like this. I don't think I'm advanced enough yet lol.
