what vehicle? what driver? what finish? added to existing kickpanel? whole new kickpanel? surface mount? flushmount? inverse mount? tweet mounted coax? tweet mounte seperate from driver? oh and "7inch midbass in 3way coax"... so you want to put a speaker within a speaker?

Alright, its a 1998 Dodge Ram, and there's already a 1" tweeter pod in the A-Pillars and a 5.25" speaker in the door. I figured if I wanted to go for a 3 way component system, I'd need a place to put the midwoofer and the kickpanel seemed the most viable place.

what you should do is put the 7" in the door and the 5.25 in the kick

since the 7" will be playing such a limited freq range you wont really gain much from the kick placement

well that is what i would do, so you are free to do what you want to.

But thats just because I have booku supplies and it would actually be nice to get rid some of this cloth and resin!

id say sevens in the doors and 5.25s in the kick, tweet can stay at the dash. if youre going to glass kicks you might as well glass the doors. expect to pay anywhere from 400 and up for a set of custom kicks at a shop. you can always check out q forms but they arent the great acousticall because they dont have sealed back so it doesnt seperate the rearwave very well.

expy, id be more than willing to take some mat and resin off of your hands for you. will you accept trades? i have a bunch of green pieces of paper with dead presidents on them.

$500 sounds expensive, but for the amount of work that goes into it im not surprised.
