How much does a 4x8 of mdf weigh?

****. i never knew it was that much. I carried my Enclosure i made all the way up 4 sets of steps and out to the parking lot from school. Was pretty heavy but it didnt feel like more than 75.

stop trying to be macho. not only is it almost 100lbs it is an akward carry because of size
Its actually not all that bad once you get the hang of it. Just need to know how to handle the material. I'm sure you have seen people carrying 4x8 sheets of whatever, just gotta drop it down into your strong hand lean it up against your shoulder and brace the top with your weak hand, make sure your near the center of the sheet and when you need to drop it you just lean the front corner down and then either keep pushing to lean it up the long way or balance it off the corner and work it down then lean it up. I would say 12' or 16' pieces of 5/8ths wallboard would be much more akward to carry, specially with how much it flexes and bounces as you walk and much more delicate.

this is like the 3rd thread this week I have read that the conversation was on or got switched to the ability to carry MDF. Shits not that heavy or complicated to carry. Not trying to sound "macho". granted I was a tradesman for almost 5 years I cant believe the weight is relevant enough to warrant 3 topics about it (that I know of)...
