How much did you pay?

So, if you had a more expensive amp you would pay for a better wire? You get what you pay for. Wire is a permanent investment, do it right the first time. Not the best idea to use a black wire for power there Frodo. All it takes is one mechanic to disconnect your battery when you take the car in for service and you have a blown amp of other down line items. Penny wise, pound foolish. You have lots of local shops to choose from in Calgary. For that matter, make a post on Canadian Car Audio and one of the local guys that are on the Canadian site can probably hook you up.

I used 2/0 simply because it came with the JL kit I acquired. I can't tell you a difference b/w 1/0 but it was failry easy to use, hide, manuvear (sp?)...
apperently its just bigger, so i assume higher strand count, but its also hi-flex so it should be pretty easy to maneuver(dictionary.com is my friend hehe). I will probably run it under the car anyways

I didnt want to risk under the car since I'm in FL and in an area where it floods. I just pulled up my door sills and carpet and ran it straight down the middle of the cabin under the carpet concealed by a hump...

I need to get some 1/0 and 4 soon for my new car. I would like Knu's Kol but its expensive. I need like ~30feet of 1/0, and maybe 10-15 of 4awg plus fuses, distros, and terminals. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Edit: 40ft of 1/0 KOL and 20ft of 4 KOL is $114.80 WITHOUT S/H, fuse holders/fuses, distros, battery terminals, ring terminals..

ya its retarted how expensive it is

i payed $62 for the 25' of wire, and am getting a fuse holder with fuse for $10. my rca's and remote wire were $20. Then the connectors and everything should bring the grand total around $110 CAD for the whole kit

what do you guys thing of this, cheap or better somewhere else. Also can't they just crimp the connector on before shipping because I don't want to spend on tools either.

I havent seen another company who offers a kit like that . It would probably be cheaper to buy the wire/connectors seperate, however since you dont have tools it may not be. Try shooting them an email or phone call and find out if they can pre-assemble the wire for you:)
