Hifonics TX1505D? It's rated at 1500 WRMS @ 1 ohm but how many watts can I really expect from it? Will it at least give me 1200 WRMS @ 1 ohm.

Only way to tell is to get it benched. Or test it in car. My guess would be no. A guesstimate would be 800 watts from Hifonics's track record. And it is the lowest model amp they carry.

What about the PA 2400DB? It's rated at 1400 @ 2 ohms and 1800 @ 1. I'm getting the amp in Dec so I have a while to find a amp. I'm basically trying to find something around the price range of those two amp thats not too overrated.
