This is an extremely vague question, there are many variables, and a **** load of answers......Brands such as the Maxxsonics, power acoustik, boss, etc
Lets say they say 150X2RMS.. what is really at.
all of your amps are overrated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifBrands such as the Maxxsonics, power acoustik, boss, etc

Depends on what you spend for the ampfor instance; im lookin at this power acoustik amp and its tellin me 125X4. what variables do i need to look at
You also need to account for efficiency, a class d is around 80% so that 100A fuse x 12 volts x .8= about 960 wattsCouple days late...Good indicator for cheaper amps are the fuses on em.
So if you find an amp that claims 1000w+ and has a single 30A fuse on it, be realistic.
For reference at 12v:
10A = 120w(beyond max)
20A = 240w etc...
If your looking for true 1000w, aim for 100A+ worth of fuses on it. 100A is 1200w, and thats beyond what should be coming out of it. Keep in mind thats still low, but you'll get the idea.
