do you all have the volume on your head units turned up to? i remember reading in a sticky that it should be 75% but i was just curious to what people actually did
Ive heard that 75% is good and Ive heard that all the way up is the way to go. I would do the 75% as some have said that HU can distort signal at full vol. So as long as you know not to turn it up past that certain point you should be all set. But if you let other people drive you car (kids) it may not be such a great idea.
Are you worried that your CD8445 would clip, bdawson? From the testing I've read, they don't start clipping even in worse case conditions until over 70/80..
Stock speakers at current settings sount like complete crap at from about 18 up on some songs, to about 20 up on other songs on my 9856 head unit. I hover at about 14-16/35
