How loud can 1 15 memphis pr get?

Yeah he could be getting more power than 200 watts tho cuz his gain is well CRANKED all the way up... right now in my shitty prefab box his is louder but how much of a diff. does the box make?

well your from cocoa so i'll cut you just a bit of slack for being a local but these guys are ALL right, its install and enclosure. its also vehicle... if he's got a hatchback and your in a standard cab trunk your screwed if its both trunk vehicles, i suggest you read up on the best way to get a trunk loud, if its an SUV, i suggest you get more cone area

Memphis PRs are very good subs IMO. Friend of mine has 2 15"s in a 5cuft box i built for him, and a 500w amp i sold him (good for 5-600@ 2 ohms) and the shit slams. Hes been beating it constantly with the gain and bass boost all the way up (against my reccomendations) for probably 8 months and theyre still going, lol.
