sub will be hooked up, breaker will be turned on and original poster will get scared and shut it off really fast. he will try again but will be scared again and shut it down. mom will walk into the garage and ask him what the **** he is doing? he is shutting her oven off. after she leaves he reconfigures to half an ohm. Flips the breaker and burns his hand as it melts and trips the breaker. Now mom has no oven, he has a burnt hand, and still has no blown sub. This is how its going down guys!!!

Theoretically............60 amps at 2 ohms, and 240 amps at 0.5 ohms on a 120 volt plug. In reality it won't be that high due to inductance, which causes a change in impedance........but it'll be fun for a while.
