ditto on that. sometimes a test takes a few weeks before it would show up positive if she was pregnant.

Testable urine levels of HCG can show up in 14 days after ovulation. In other words, she could be knocked up for 2 weeks before it shows up...

People are stupid!!! I got 2 negs the other day from the same person. They must have had 2 profiles. Either way, they didn't leave their name. They both said the exact same thing 1 minute apart...

Well, you have 2 ovaries, so its possible that one could still release an egg after you got pregnant, but its not very likely.

In a regular pregnancy, the fertilized egg embeds in the uterine lining. During menstruation, this lining sloughs off, causing all of the fun associated with your period, so if you were to get your period while pregnant, it would most likely abort the pregnancy, unless by some chance the egg hangs on for dear life (literally). The HCG hormone that we test for to determine pregnancy is the same hormone that blocks menstuartion.
