How is this OFC wire?

Ive always thought the copper/silver colored wire was copper and aluminum wire, to tell neg from pos. Is it colored copper or something? I dont see how it could be ofc, and if it is colored ofc wouldnt that hurt current transfer as electrons flow over the surface?

Thats what came in my car. It had aftermarket speakers and they used this. I ripped it out and replaced it. For the money it works...
