How is RE now?

im looking at getting two 12" RE *** subs for my 2000 Acura TL and putting them at about 3-3.5 cubes, tuned to 31hz. However, ive heard some people hating on RE cuz of the buyout and sayin the quality has gone down, however ive heard others saying that the new X series sounds just as good as the old series.

thinking of running them on 2000-2500 watts, but im not sure whether to buy em or not now.

Anyone with PERSONAL experience with the new/old subs care to give me ideas? no offense but i dont want people with no experience with the RE audio subs saying "oh my friend's grandma's dog's drugdealer says the new RE audio subs ****!!!1!!"

i have the new se/xs and i love em, i wouldnt push that much to em tho, but thats just me.

especially since ur reading that wrong, in a sense, 2000-2500 would be perfect, but there 1200 rms both subs, not each

I havent heard the X versions, but its easy to find the older models.

I installed 2 sr15's in a suburban. Both on 450rms each. 6cu box ported@34hz.

*****es get low, and sound **** good doing it.

my 15" gets loud as hell i think there good so i would say go with them. you will be happy you did.

yeah i mean before the buyout my friend has some older SXs and i loved em but i wanted one step down cuz i dont have the money for the SXs, but what wattage would you reccomend on em?

1200-1500 anywhere in there, 1500 like max though.

I have sold Re audio for 8 years now and running. My only problem with the new woofer designs are the plastic cover on the back:crap:. As for the difference between the old re sr se sx subs and the new ones are the cosmetics and model #! The same coil and motor setups.

Re audio SE or *** subs will take 1200 to 1500 rms apair daily, Anything over 1500rms will raise hell with the coils
