How is RE now?

I built a box for two SX12s...one was a 2005 model and one was a 2008 model. On the first burp, the 2008 model sprung a coil (I managed to get a 152.1). I vote no on RE subs unless you get them from TeamPSI.

The overwhelming majority of car audio enthusiasts don't care about competing, "burping" or db scores...

well i thought they just did recones, then i saw a few "custom team psi" subs being sold. but its all good, either way

The se's are great subs. There are probably are louder subs though. They hit really low and loud. I was thinking about going to 4 sx's if I upgraded power. I dont know much about the new re subs, but last years model are great subs as mentioned earlier.

well if someone has a deal of 350$ or less for the older SE12s, then I'd happily buy some of them but i dont know any good deals on them.

I was running a MX12 on 1500rms and easily could have fed it more, very beefy and strong buit. Almost done want to sell it, but i jut wanna try four 8"s

I would personaly go with a AQ1200D, mainly since its what i run on my pair and they love it. Its a nice combo, have ran the amp close to clipping for about 40 mins strait and neither the amp nor subs got warm...my ears did kinda hurt from that though, lol.
