You could also go w/ something like this; Battery Terminal. They are really cheap from the link I posted (you still have to pay freight though) but you can find them at any auto parts store for around $9 for a pair but w/ out the boots. You could stack at least three ring terminals on each battery terminal.

The factory wiring in my car was pretty small and it fit into those 8awg ports.

My power cable going to the trunk and my upgraded batt --> alt cable I attached to the top with ring terminals.

See this is the kinda situation where I love having an Optima battery, on my Chevy Silverado. My factory wiring stays right where its suposed to (Side Posts) and my Audio and upgraded BIG 3 wires go on the top posts.

Kinetik accepts bolts... and the D31 has bolt top posts...

So, just a nut... or a bolt... and I can put all the terminals on I want...
