How hard would it be to host a local comp?

Like just a local competition, get one of the local shops to come out with their termlab and just have a competition with a few prizes and what not?

we have meets around here occasionally. There's a local comp pretty much every other weekend though.

i'd say advertising would be the most difficult part, lot of people in your town that it'll be tough to get the word out w/o radio commercial or a big sign (i.e. billboard)

I would suggest organizing a local meet, and find someone with teh TL. It's not easy, but it's a hell of a lot easier to do than organizing a competition.

I've done two. Was the President and founder of the University of Cincinnati Car Audio Team. Didn't do much with it, but hosted a few competitions.
