how good is lanzar amps?

well im looking at buying a new amp and the "Lanzar VIBE 258" has caught my eye..............how do you guys feel about this amp? should i buy or should i find another one......?

Well i have heard that they are pretty good but if you have some money to spend you can definently get a better amp and it also depends on what kinda subs you have

yea i dont have that much cash to spend.........round 250$ max cdn.... so i thought this wasnt that bad of a deal....................i think i heard that lanzars arent bad..........just checking..........also for subs........right now im gonna be powering 4 JLw0's but idk for how long..........prolly upgrade soon so im kinda thinking ahead with this amp....

Another good enxspensive brand you may want to check out is Profile.. im not shure if they are better than lanzar maybe on par but Profile is woth a look too. http://www.profileusa.com

i second the profile. they r very cheap for the amount of watts. all of these amps can be urs for under 210 and under. that is 900 rms with some good features.

the optidrive series are very good, underrated amps and so is the rack series which consists of the d3000m and d2000m. otherwise, the lanzar amps are pretty mediocre, but they do come with a 3 year warranty which is always good.

so this is the one im looking at........but one thing.......ive got a slot ported box.......and I dont see this one as having a sub sonic filter......would i have to buy the ssf that goes in line of the rca's?

yea you probably would...harrison labs FMODS. http://www.partsexpress.com for them...if you got either the lanzar d2000m or d3000m then it would have a built in SSF.....

Not sure the exchange rate for US to CND...but if you save up a little more you could get a JBL 1200.1, that would give you plenty of power, and be more power when you need it in the future.

$250 CAD is = $170 USD.

eBay might be your best bet. Look at a JBL 600.1. You'll need that subsonic filter
