how good are you?

I am not sure what the term 'ABC box' refers to, but if it is anything near a dual tuned bass reflex, then I agree. Looking at the length of the extended port compared to the other one it almost looks like a t-line wannabe. Judging from the legnth, the extended port is tuned an octave lower than the short one.

I designed that. Its basically a by the book ABC box, or Dual tuned bass reflex.

I see a lot of you have questions regarding the extra baffle in the main chamber. Thats just there to try and eliminate standing waves. Its like 12in away from the port.

All three ports are equal length, just like the ABC design calls for.

The reason the near and far ports are differently angled is because, The air from the middle port would flow right into the near port. That couldn't be good for tuning.

bin there done that built those.....
it's not ignorance..it is experience
well sorry then, you just sounded like a major noob at first.

I designed it because 60 wanted it. Still I bet that it will be very good sounding. Its just really big.

sorry I guess it was a blunt reply...

I did all sorts of these type of enclosures...

back like 20 years ago I built boxes with more turns

in the port than I could count

I now build all my enclosures around good airflow.

max airflow equals max bass with ported enclosures

They are primarily designed for SQ use. In general they are bigger than a regular ported box.

For most people a regular ported box will be better suited.

The whole idea behind the ABC box, is the ability to have two tuning frequency's. They won't get any louder than a ported.

Call me blind, but I don't see a third port. And where is reference information on an 'ABC design'?
