I get about 10mb down 1mb up from comcast. They're ok. I wish they offered Verizon FIOS here though.

i got the 3 meg. charter is the only high speed provider where i live and their price is ****ing outrages. i pay over $50 a month for it

i do about 90% of my interneting from work, so i'm gonna drop the cable at home and just get some dial-up, but i don't have phone service so that is another problem

It depends on what you need it for, if you just web browse then get the slower packages and save some money. If you use bittorrent and file share alot definately get the highest you can afford.

Remember the 1/8th rule, whatever they state the max speeds are, divide by 8 and thats the actual speeds you will get.

ive been getting like 15mbit avg down and 2 mbit up, but the past few days ive had probs and and its only 3mbit down and still 2mbit up, and i havnt had a problem ever with there customer service

I'm sure its higher; the rates are really high on the reservations.
