Well which of the speeds would you GUESS is comparable to Comcast or normal cable internet?

In a lot of areas it's great, but in even more areas it sucks, worst part about it is that it makes a computer very unsecure, 'cause I found it easier to hack into the comcast computers than I did, say Verizon or SBC Global. I was on a dial up connection at the time, and I could be in there for a good 20 minutes before the people finally shut down the connection. I have a simple 512Kb connection, and can download 700MB in about 4 hours, and still be able to watch videos and browse the web. If I were you, I'd find a local business and get high speed through them. Your local phone company should be able to set you up. The phone company here has a T1 connection, and while at night, I can unlock the modems capping, and get a 6mb connection, but while people are up, I have to keep it under wraps.

I'm running at ~6352 kbps.

Comcast truly is hit or miss though. At my house, I never have problems with it, we have the 6 mb package, it's never down, and I love it. At my parents house, it's down quite a bit....but still fast while it's up.

I like mine. Its pretty quick and rarley down. Except for when we first got it, the modem would always disconnect but now it never does.

WOW is pretty good. my uncle lives in sterling heights and i used his internet and it is definately faster then the charter service i'm currently using. it's also a lot cheaper then comcast

I'm using WOW right now. I really like it. I have the advanced package (6 down 1 up) always up, no problems, good customer service.

My comcast is pretty d*mn good if you ask me. Super fast and rarely down as well.

My upload speed isn't that great, but downloading is always super fast.

Download Speed: 20149 kbps (2518.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

my charter kinda sucks, but i get exactly what i pay for, too bad they dont offer anything higher than 2 meg down and 1 meg up. Oh well thats what i get for living in WV

the internet takes a while sometimes. i think its because i got spyware and adware on my comp now though. When i reformat my comp the sites load faster. i got the 3 meg. charter is the only high speed provider where i live and their price is ****ing outrages. i pay over $50 a month for it
