How fast do caps drain your battery?

Ok i know people hate caps, and i opt not to use them, but for my bus I will need something so the headlights wont dim at night. My only concern is how fast they drain the battery when the car is off, Since they always are charging I heard they **** the life out of your battery fast. Now I have a brand new yellowtop optima (not even installed yet) and Im running all new power wire, I dont even know if my lights are going to dim, but Id like to know before buying one when the lights start dimming (if they do at all) Ill be running a mrd-m501 60 amp fuse. Class D so should i just get a .5 farad, 1 farad might drawin the battery faster i figure.. keep in mind it is only if my lights dim...

The cap charges in a blink of the eye, then doesnt take any more power at all, in theory. So it wont drain your battery.

And since you have a yellow top, dont get a cap till you know you need it. My yellow top totally stopped my dimming.
