I think you can get a better interest rate if you put more down, i'd personally put 3-4k down on a 22k car

given that he has good credit.

my credit score is mid 650 656 i believe, which almost puts me at a B paper ( 660) which is 8.9% for my credit union.. Im hoping to have the car tax/title everything for 22 k . But the good thing for me might be to put an order in for an 07 save another 4 grand pur $5-6000 down and go from there ..
