How does this work??

How do ohms work??? i know the lower the ohm the less resistance i understand all that but how is it that you can run 2 speakers like 2 SE's which are 4 ohms each into say a 1200 watt amp that is 1200w@1 ohm. how does that work???

they have to have dual voice coils...then wire in parallel. how it works, I have no clue. Still learning myself.

Understanding ohms seems daunting to a beginner, but once you get the hang of it you'll be able to spout off all the prossible wiring configurations of 5 quad voice coil 2 ohm subs wired to a single amp in no time...

J/k, but it is ver easy once you get the basics down.
