How does this system sound thats going into my Acura MDX?

Speaker amp - Elemental Designs Nine 2

Components - Rainbow SLC

Sub Amp - Elemental Designs Nine.1

Sub - 12 inch 2005 RE XXX (2.5 cu ft @ 32hz_

Not sure yet if i am gonna buy the rainbows though, im considering just running my stock bose speakers off of the head unit, becuase they don't sound all that bad. But then again, i loved the pure intensity i got in my last car with amped CDT's, and even though my speakers now have nice sound quaity and don't distort, they don't really give me that same intensity. So i will probably wind up getting the rainbow's anyway, since i can get them for 200 new w/ a warranty. But all in all, how does this system sound?

haha, seriously though, i know how much people hate stock speakers, but the ones in this car don't sound that horrible. They don't sound much worse then my CDT's, just don't get as loud and intense as they did. But i would say 200 bones by just keeping the stockers.

there is no need to patronize me. I already have an XXX so that is obviously going into this car. I know bose is a pretty crummy company, but if these happen to sound alright, what would be the harm in keeping them?

also, to be honest you'll find that you can run more power through those bose speakers and get some good results! I have amped stock bose door speakers with as much as 60 wrms in the past and really seen improvements.

ha, that would be nice. but my amp is 100 watts x 2, it would probably break them.

Not if you set the gains right. And I would put more power to the XXX than a 9.1 can put out.

yeah, seriously- if you keep the stock doors amp them with whatever you have, just dn't push them harder than they want to go.

Go with the rainbow. Bose sounds like crap. Tweeter is too dull in the top end.
