How does this setup sound?

Hey guys just lookin for some feedback on this setup. I just got a 2001 jetta with the monsoon sound system crap in it so I'm upgrading, but want to stay relatively inexpensive.

For the subs i was thinking Kicker dual 12"s 600W; 300 RMS

For the amp i was thinking as Power Acoustik PS-2 1800W 2 channel amp at 4 ohms; 300W RMS

Just had a few questions like is the amp too powerful? crappy?, etc. Also what wiring kit would be best?

Amp is crap. Don't waste your time with it.

its a decent amp since you have it already, you could use it as long as you get the right coil config to get the right ohm load for the amp

Total of $457. Then if you look around you should be able to find a 10% off coupon or more, so you should be around $410 for a pretty nice system. Ive used both those subs and amps, and they are great for a budget build. The subs are loud, sound decent, and take power. The amp will do a real 1500w.
