caps just bring more strain to your electrical system

look more into doing the big 3, high output alt, deep cycle battery...the caps are a true waste of money

let me guess your intended purpose is to help with dimming?

a cap is made to store current which it can realese at a split second, and only has enough for a split second before it has to recharge. now that recharging is causing another strain on your electrical system. if your electrical system can handle your amp, then a cap can be added for sq purposes. on some songs on a heavy bass note, the alt may not be able to deliver the current at that second, for a smooth bass note. that is where the cap comes in. it will discharge that current so fast, that you don't have muddy bass. being able to store current and realese it for a period of 1 second will not help a week electrical system. also amps have built in capacitors anyways
