im new to the speaker world, so i dont want to bust my first subwoofer or amp supa quick..

Do not turn your gain up really high.

Do not turn your bass boost up really high.

Those will cause distortion. Which will make them go poof.

For good songs. Just hit up the search button. There's a lot of info already posted on here about that.

so how do i control the bass on my sub, through the dash?.. what should i set my bassboost at and leave it there?? cause if its at 0, it kills the sub..

bass boost has nothing to do with burning a coil.......you could potential have bass boost all the way and never even get it hot
