How does my new setup look?

Amp-Bx1605d

Box-4ft tuned to 33 slot ported

Installing it all the christmas day after I unwrap it all lol. This is my attempt at getting back into car audio after about a 4year absense. Man it seems like I forgot everything I learned. This site has helped quite a bit getting my foot back in the door. I spent about 1000 on everything. So what do you guys think?

For the price of that headunit, you can do better. But the substage looks promising...

If I was going to drop close to 4 bills on a HU I'm not so certain I would have gone with a Panasonic, personally, but if it does what you want it to do then that's all that needs to happen.

Additionally if I'm not mistaken the coaxials you've listed are Kenwood's 3-way 6.5" models and to my ear those are seriously lacking in midbass response even in a really good install but for budget coaxs they're tolerable.

Is this entire setup a gift or gifts??

I have had 2 panasonics decks in the past and loved them. One deck went bewteen 4 cars over the course of 4 years and never had one problem out of it. So I figured they have been good to me and this one looks pretty sick and has a ton of features so why not. Like I said 200 not this listed 400

Yeah seemed like a hell of a deal how does everything else look. I know the speakers are kinda weak but the price was right

those Kenwood coaxials won't keep up with your sub-bass at full tilt, but its a decent daily driving setup.

Yeah I was on a christmas budget and was more concerned with the sub and amp. A couple months down the road I might get a nice set of components and a better set of coaxles. My goal is just to have a loud *** daily setup

It will be loud!! I was quite surprised when I installed my L7... And x2 on the coaxials not keeping up.. I had to get 200 watts going to my components to keep up with the bass!

I believe you will be pleased!
