how does distortion on subs sound like?

what frequency are vibrations
i want vibration correct?

all frequencies are vibration,...its what created sound to begin with...

its kind of like when you play a song low...and you stand near the sub, and you listen to it...its nice and clear. then you go and turn it up loud...and instead of just getting louder...it has an added wooooomph sound to it.
