so, the 700 billion dollar bailout could be given out to americans then every american would recieve 100,000 dollars. Yeah, seems more reasonable to give money to us rather than CEOs that will keep the money , I know if I got the 100,000 dollars I would buy a car as well as many others.

My brother and I were talking, and we figured they should give a rebate-type deal to Americans who buy American cars, rather than giving that money to the Big 3 of Motown.

I believe they're giving them 34 billion.. we figure the government should put down 15K for a fuel efficient car, 10K for a sedan/coupe, and 5K for a truck/van. That way people would be inclined to buy new cars, and the companies would be making money.

I'm not a fan of the bailout as free money never works. But I think giving it to corporations is a lot better than giving it to just random people as they will have no idea what to do with it and just spend it on shit. Then they think they have a bunch of money and quit their jobs. Then the next week they are broke and have no job, but at least they have a Mercedes. Although they don't have money to fill it with gas.
