When you get your setup ready and head out to the local sound offs or whereever to get measured, do you play a certain test tone, ie: 40hz sine wave or do you play music? I've never been to get measured so i dont know. How does it work? Forgive my ignorance.

It depends on the rules. Some orginizations wont let you use test tones. You are limited to strictly regular music.

But when I go off and compete I usually use sine waves or test tones. I think I peak at like 46 or 47 hz.

Youre prolly better off going out and buying the cd. You have the original copy then and you havent lost any bass.

Do you know what I mean? Something like if you keep making more and more copies of something, its eventually going to be a crappy copy that you end up with.
