How do you know???

Ok how do you know when a box is too small for a sub...i was told to test it by putting a paper sack in the port if it sucks the sack in the box its to small is that true?

I've never heard of that test...you might can tell by the way it sounds though...

but if u never heard the sub in a different box how would u know by the different sound? im pretty sure the box i have is to small for the sub but i was just curious of how you would know
