Im having this weird problem with my system, itll start off strong but a couple minutes of driving (at same volume) the bass start to disappear, not completely gone, it kinda fades away, but if I turn my music up on rap or anything with a beat, it still hits hard at a higher volume (I don’t know if it is fading, when its at a higher volume or not, because well its not as easy to tell if it is or not), but for some weird reason when its around 4 I have to turn it up to like 6 to have the beats it as hard as they did when I first started the vehicle (this is after a couple mins of driving), the bass doesn’t go all the way down to nothing if I let my vehicle on for a while, but it does fade a bit, which I don’t understand what could be the problem. My system a couple of weeks ago it did the same thing badly and then the system didn’t work after that and found out my rca cables were bad, but I replaced them, it doesn’t do it nearly as bad as it did before, but it still fades away, could my amp be going bad or what could be the problem? And if it is my amp, is there a test to see if it is or not?

well since its running constantly it may be your battery going low. even tho your vehicle is running if you are pulling a good amount of current your batt/voltage will still drop. like with alot of amps dropping volts they will put out less watts/power. like power acoustik. they drop off power horribly when battery is low. i had a bamf testing and it was doin like 2k @ 13v and the voltage droped to 11.7v and wattage dropped to like 1750

could be ur rcas are loose, could be your remote wire isn't sending enough to your amp to keep it on so its going in and out.

or this ^^^

the remote wire and the battery are still the same, from before it started to happen to now and ive already replaced the reca cables, thats why I didnt know if it was my amp or not

I had the same problem with my home theater system and it turned out the sub out on the receiver was going. Might want to check into that. Maybe the sub out on your head unit is failing. I would try hooking the amp up to a different source and see if it still does it.

I hope its not my amp, to be honest, but its weird ill be driving down the road and out of no where the sub would kick in (like where it should be) and then go back to were it is now, I tried to mess with the rca cables (on the amp) but nothing changes (but I did just replace those also) could the sub level jumping up to were its suppose to be and then going back down, be the result ofa bad remote wire?
