how do you go about shipping to canada?

i would not use usps cause they dont offer insurance.

Well they do but as soon as it crosses the boarder and anything happens they wont cover it.

shipping to canada with ups instead of usps is the difference between $60+ and ~$20......

No it is not that bad.

Also if the buyer does not want insureance then fine.

Look in my sig 90% of it was shipped to canada via ups and the price difference from ups and usps was like 10-15 dollar difference.

Benifits for using ups over usps.

Quicker delivery

Insurance

I would pay 10 dollars for the above wouldnt you?

usps/ups also charges duty fee's. while fedex, dhl, or other sorts of shipping do not charge you any fee's to be collected. IMO usps/ups = money scammers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

fedex and dhl do not charge customs/brokage fees?

And yes they do

Quote

Fedex

Fedex charges brokerage fees based on the value of your order. Instead of paying the amount up front, Fedex will send you an invoice in the mail. The problem is that they don't list them on their site.

make sure you dont get some whiny tit that likes to complain, and dont use fedex. if you use fedex on your account and they deny the taxes, you get stuck. many of stories i have heard of people whining about import taxes (duty), and try to get the seller to cover them. f-that. thank god i have dealt with only cool canadians. toby got stuck for 400 bucks worth of duty fees using fedex cuz the buyer declined the duty taxes.
