How do you create a DVD Audio disc?

Have you tried ripping the songs as .wav files and using those to burn a data dvd? I know it's not ideal but it would probably work.

you are trying to do giga mp3, or dvd mp3 which that player does not support.

only jvc and maybe alpine do it... btw its the shizzle after its done.. 1300 songs on 1 disk..

You have been told, what you are trying to do and what your HU plays are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS...

That is DVD-Audio, it is essentially a HI FIDELITY audio recording... usually recorded at 192KHz, as opposed to the normal 44.1KHz like regular Audio CD's.

YOU are trying to put MP3 FILES onto a DVD, as in DATA onto a DVD disc. Your HU DOES NOT READ DVD DATA DISCS. It reads DVD Audio (explained above), CD Audio, CD Data (MP3 CD's), and DVD Movie discs...

anyways, the point im trying to make is that if my HU is DVD Audio compatible, and I have tried burning DVD Audio discs (not just DVD Data), why will it not play. Are you implying that when it says DVD Audio all it is, is a clearer sound?

I just want a rationale answer, or some tips from someone who have maybe used the system before and knows what the do's and dont's are of the Pioneer I have. Thanks for the help, but next time change your rag before you post....

I tried to make an MP3 dvd as well... my H/U or dvd changer wouldn't play it.

Your best bet is to get an IPOD to hook up to your H/u AUX input (most dvd h/u have one)

I have an AXV1 JVC and it plays MP3 from a DVD with no problems. I burn the DVDs with Nero or Toast. It works the same as a Mp3 CD. I dont' know if the Pioneeer unit is prepared to read data DVDs (mp3s).

burning mp3's on a dvd is called gig mp3, all dvd players can't read it...

if I'm correct only alpine right now can do it
