How do you clean your wheels?

After using the mothers chrome polish that stuff is seriously awsome

I can't tell you the name of it, because I don't know it, but about a year ago when i was living with a buddy, some guy came door to door trying to sell some cleaning solution. we tried to send him away, telling him we didn't need it, but then he asked if he could bum a cigarette so i gave him one. well we sat on the porch bullshitting for a couple minutes and he's like "hey, is that your car with the rims on it?"(they were brushed aluminum enkeis) and i said yes. he's like "here watch this, this shit will clean the brake dust right off" so he sprayed it on, let it sit for like 30 seconds, and then sprayed it with my hose and it came right off. they stayed clean for like 2 weeks. so i bought a bottle off him and that's what I used for as long as i had that car.

moral of the story, if someone comes to your door trying to sell cleaning shit, ask them to clean one of your wheels and if it works you'll buy it.

I use Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound. Rub around for awhile in all the places wher dirt collects and then buff off. Works wonders even on tough shit that regular polish won't touch.

Turtle Wax Polishing Compound works great if they arent too bad. Took my seemingly shot Ford Ranger stock chromies to shinin' like diamonds, except for the painted rim, which I am slowly sanding and painting with touch up paint fromAdvance auto parts. For the tough parts use Rubbing Compound though..

Then I apply car wax afterwards.

i just cleaned mine yesterday... i swear... brake dust sticks to em like mad. they've already got some on em.

I use eagleone all wheel cleaner for the rim and tire. Then i get the hose and rub the rest of the dirt with my bare hands. excellent for the little nooks and crannies.

I use meguiars chrome/mag cleaner. its like a paste and then i use the mother's small mini power ball .

I wash my chrome rims once a week. Since I keep them maintained I just use Lemon Pledge on them, it makes them ****ing shine. And by Lemon Pledge, yes I mean the furniture polish.
