How do you Burn MP3 on a DVD and make it play on a deck?

Your HU has to be capable of DVD-A playback.

Not many that are not actual in-dash DVD players will do that.

i specifically bought the jvc kd-avx1 just for the dvd mp3 compatibility.

Yes my headunit is a AVP-49000DVD pioneer but I;m not sure if I make a DVD full of MP3 would play ...... thanks

it depends some on the software also. dvd mp3's made in nero won't play on the playstation 2, but roxio burned dvd mp3's will.

to play actual dvd mp3's, yes. roxio burns them different then nero. formats the disc different, converts the audio different, etc. i actually haven't found a dvd player that the roxio burned discs won't play on. nero makes true mp3 audio discs, which players not compatible won't read. make sure you use dvd-r to burn on.

I just bought the KW-AVX800 and had to figure this out as well.

Tried one as a data dvd and that didnt work....than i seen "Make MP3 DVD"...haha...well long story short that worked haha....4.7gb of music on a disk...pretty fun.

I have Nero 7...good luck

i use nero 7 as well. roxio is killer though. you can assign any picture you choose to display with each song. i use album art mostly. the menu is more interactive, and customizable with your own pics as well. it takes time, but it's pretty neat.

I just finish buring and it dod not play on my 700 bucks dvd player pioneer and it did play on my brothers 120 bucks farenhit dvd plaver ...... I hate !!!

i do. it burns the data different. if it plays on a ps2, it'll play on almost anything and roxio burned dvd mp3's play on the ps2. nero's won't play.
