How do you achieve 16v?

Would I be able to convert my whole eletricle system to 16v with 2 8v batteries? Or do I have to run two alts?

no for real though you need to either have something to step the voltage down before the vehicles electrical if your running one 16v alt and 16v batts, or an alt for the car and than a 16v alt for the music system.

nahh. dont even need an amp then, just hook the subs directly up to a ac converter (hooked up to alternator). constant bass wherever you go!
