how do u make a baffle?

is it worth it im building a ported box with my friend who is much more knowledgeable than me and i want to know how to make them and if its a worth it i already have a huge sheet of mdf wood glue screws etc

baffle = the face that the sub mounts to. Its just another side.

It's worth making if you're building a box. Otherwise you'd just be running the subs free air?

The baffle is basically just another name for the front of the box.

It will be the peice of wood that is not quite as long as the back peice (in order to leave room for the vent)

That is done is some boxes that hold high powered subs or heavy subs. its called a double bafle.
