How do u kno what the peak volume is for ur subs?

Didn't like the way they sounded.....heard one in a box with a 500/1 on it at my local shop. Laughed and told them I wasn't paying out that much for money for that sub.
Got a better deal elsewhere

what size was it? i've heard that 1000 times... unless it was an 8, a 500/1 wasn't really giving it the power it needed.. esspecially if it was a sealed box... i don't think i've ever met anyone that was impressed with them when they were under-powered... you should hear a 13w7 on a 1000/1 in a high-tuned ported box i bet you'd like that! lol but i don't care for the 500/1 much at all call me crazy but i'd rather have a 1000/1 and not use half of it, than use all of a 500/1
