I gotta agree in part. MCCAIN was kind of set up for failure. People were pissed at Bush and the REpublicans for Iraq (his fault), and the economy (in all fairness, this was years in the coming and compounded by some recent policies but still not his fault). Then they panic because they're against a minority so they figure why not pick a bubbly hot milf to be Vice Pres. so they can bring a minority to the table too and 'spice things up'. But they picked an inbred Alaskan white trash tard (a hot one, but still a tard). And now the race was between a 71 year old guy who looks worn down and unhealthy like he might become bedridden before his term is over partnered with a dumbass VP or a handsome, young smooth talker with an experienced and seasoned vet of the political game at his side. Race aside, come on, seriously, did anybody really ever think it'd even be close? I watched the flag-waving Mccain-Palin supporters on the platform behind her whenever she spoke. They looked like they felt wierd just being there.

Obama flipped 11 states that voted for bush last time around and I think the Republicans actually helped him as much as he helped himself if not more.
