How do these compare ID CTX65CS vs Alpine SPX-17REF

I'm used the search trying to find any thread focused on comparing those two but I found nothing, just seperate threads. Overall I see that ID's are more popular, maybe because they are supposed to be cheaper. But now they'r at the same price and I wonder how do these compare.

I'm running a 4 channel Sundown 50.4 amp, but I will also have back speakers running of the amp too.

Both are nice sounding comps, i am currently running the ID's and like the SQ on them better.

Ive never heard of anything ID in person but I have the SPX-13REFs and I'm happy with them... The sound has a warm feeling to it, and they get way loud.

So your saying you also had Ref's before and you'r comparing them ?
